"Always a great experience! Homemade everything, huge portions, amazing prices! If this was near a major city, reservations would be required. We've never been disappointed. We headed over after a quick trip to Maysville. We arrived about 15 minutes until close. I worried they'd be finished seating and wouldn't have minded if that had been the case. They welcomed us, seated and served us right away. We drive 45 minutes and this is a monthly staple. Especially Saturday steak night. It easily rivals the Ribber and I'd dare to say even Jeff Ruby!"

"Down home country cooking! We did not leave hungry, and if ya do... if your fault! You're made to feel right at home! Food was great, service was great and they were busy right at 11 when they opened, always a great sign! Thank you MDB! We'll be back"

"So we put off and put off coming down to the Mayslick Dinnerbell because it was out of the way. The outside isn't that appealing and seems a bit misplaced truthfully. But once you enter everything changes. It has a cozy atmosphere, the people are super friendly (minus a few strange look our ways), and the food is the best food around. My husband had gotten the McNasty and it was humongous! "The best chicken sandwich I've ever had" was his exact words and he's hard to please. I am gluten free myself so I got some grilled chicken tenders mashed potatoes (no gravy) and green beans! The chicken was juicy and tender and delicious. The mashed potatoes I think are homemade and taste just like southern homemade cooking and it's top tier. My daughter who's 22 months old absolutely loved the chicken and she's at the stage where she's being super picky but she ate everything she was offered! It was great to see her eat so well given she recently lost her appetite being sick. Now the tea, the tea tops everything off. I am from the south and I like my tea sweet but not too sweet and this is the best sweet tea I've tasted in the tri-state area! So it's definitely worth making the trip down to this hometown diner and giving their food a try! Super affordable also!"

"Love this place. It's country cooking at its finest. Don't be coming expecting a suit and tie atmosphere, that's not here. This down home country food and feel. Always friendly, from the cook to the server. Today CC wasn't cooking himself, but his cook was equally as good. I had the chicken fried steak and my wife had meatloaf. Both were the specials today. Both were amazing. My son had a corn dog, he also destroyed it! This may be a drive for you to get here, but trust me, as the sign says, if you leave hungry it's your fault! Good food, good prices, generous portions!"

"My family and I were on a drive to get out of the house when we saw this restaurant on Google Maps. We were debating whether to stop because we were concerned that not everybody would find something they liked. Well, we are now glad we did! The food was great, and The waitress we had was very friendly! From being out of state and just popping in, they made us feel like we had been coming there for years. We will be driving the hour and a 1/2 back to eat there again! Next time we'll be bringing more family. This restaurant is well worth the drive."

"The second I walked into this place, it felt like home. The music, the noise, and the service are all perfect. The food is so good and I will absolutely go back on day. My mama and I got onion rings, fried tomatoes, and fried pickles. And as a huge onion ring fan, I can honestly say, I've never had rings these good. All are insanely good, and the sauce I got with my rings has a spicy little kick to it! The wait is worth it, trust me. I knew the second I walked in, I'd have to give it a great review. I'm extremely pleased."
